The state has regained ownership on Thursday over the house downtown Sibiu that belonged to Iohannis spouses. The Cadastral Office has registered the application from the Sibiu Public Finance Administration to delist from the Land Registry their ownership of the real estate, digi24.ro reports.
The Sibiu County Administration for Public Finance (AJFP) requested on March 25, 2016 the removal from the Land Registry of the Iohannis spouses in the case of the building downtown Sibiu, following the lawsuit lost in court last year.
The AJFP approach comes less than five months after the pronouncement of the final decision by the Brasov Court of Appeal by which Carmen and Klaus Iohannis have lost the property. During this period, the Iohannis spouses continued to collect money from renting the building located on 29, Nicolae Balcescu St. in Sibiu, as shown by an investigation conducted in February by Rise Project.
Besides the removal from the Land Registry of the Iohannis spouses, AJFP also sought the supplementation of the legal heir certificate for the Romanian state.
