It seems the frenzy of building fast has hit the central Romania town of Sibiu. According to turnulsfatului.ro, downtown Sibiu, on Semaforului St. the shelters for bus passengers have been built no less than 30 metres away from the bus stop…
The strange situation was brought to public knowledge by city counsellor Claudia Simtion. “There are two shelters for bus passengers, however the bus stops are some 30 metres away. I suggest the deserted shelters should be relocated,” the local counsellor said, according to the quoted source.
It seems a recently built traffic roundabout nearby has triggered the relocation of the pedestrian crossing and of the bus stops, however the shelters have not been relocated.
The local people say they’ve got used to the situation and that the shelters for bus passengers are anyway poorly built, and during summertime it’s even hotter beneath them.
