eMAG chooses Sibiu to open its largest showroom outside Bucharest

Local largest online retailer eMAG has opened on Friday in Sibiu, the largest showroom outside Bucharest, a press release informs. The company estimates to deliver in the new unit more than 80,000 orders annually. As a first, eMAG will implement in Sibiu the “showroom drive” concept – the customers can pick up their products without getting out of the car.

“The opening of the showroom in Sibiu, first opened this year in the province, is part of eMAG expansion strategy in the Western area to be closer to even more customers,” Sorin Dinu, Retail Manager eMAG.

The new unit covers an area of almost 600 square meters, where over 600 products and accessories will be exhibited such as electronics, IT, gaming, personal care appliances and smart technology.

eMAG opened its first showroom in 2008, in Bucharest, in Crangasi area, within Grant Shopping Center. Currently the company has two own showrooms in the capital.

eMAG has also showrooms in the cities of Brasov, Constanta, Craiova, Galati, Oradea, Timisoara, Iasi, Ploiesti and Cluj-Napoca. Moreover, eMAG has two own delivery points in Baneasa and Pitesti, and another 202 delivery units opened in partnership with the Romanian Post.
